This is a womans word and a womans experience but embraced by males to supply all his needs. Interpretation and analysis is mostly printed and published by men. We are the ones who have had the first hand experience, the understanding, the symptoms, the breakthroughs and the changes, not necessarily to the bank account. Focus by males concentrates on topics around HRT, the science of estrogen and progesterone and a collection of complex names and complaints bound to grab the attention of a few husbands. Birthday presents become well meaning but not treasured. The only true female beneficiary would have been the wife of the author. His bank balance not the desperate need of ladies would have been the major focus. Even a number of the female experts tends to focus on obviously necessary but complex scientific content to receive recognition from the male publishers, doctors and scientists. If this level of content is needed most of us would choose the accepted expert male anyway. The bookstore sales reveal that the mature successful female is taken seriously and respected. Shes the one who even knows the detailed content of canned cat food and even the summer temperature reached where the favorite feline wont touch it. The topics for fortunes are astronomical.
